Meet the Needville Narwhal Coaches
Hello Needville Narwhal family!!
My name is Megan Auer, I will be one of your coaches this 2026 season. I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you! A little bit about me: I have been a swimmer my entire life. From competing for our local swim team at age 6 in Columbus, TX - to Lamar Consolidated High School my Junior and Senior year. After graduation I went on to teach swim lessons with Houston Swim Club off and on from 2009-2021 (with a few breaks in between to start my own family). I am married with 4 beautiful children. Wyatt (11), Charlee (6), Madison (3), and Dustin (8m).
I spend my days now raising my little family, seeing to my kids local sporting events, and tending to our animals. As a family we enjoy spending our time in all things outdoors. Camping, concerts, rivers and lakes. Even in the colder months we are on some kind of memory making adventure. With this being the first season for the Narwhals, I am extremely excited and honored to coach everyone’s littles (and bigs) this season. I will spare no effort in getting your child to where they will succeed.

Hey there Narwhals!
My name is Sami Reid and I am your 10u coach! I have been married to my husband, Blake, for almost 9 years and together we have 2 kids, Sayde (7) and River (4). Swimming has been a big part of my life while I was growing up! I swam for R & R Aquatics for 12 years and again for Terry High School. Backstroke was my thing! I am Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist by day! I have my own company, Thunder Therapy and also do Home Health as well! When I’m not working with my speech friends, I love to go camping, gardening, canning, baking, and spending time with family and friends at the lake or on the coast! This is my 2nd year as a Coach for NNA. Building kids confidence and perfecting their strokes in the pool is the best thing, but my absolute favorite is being their loudest cheerleader at meets!
